Some people say that there are three A's that come to mind when you think about living in Tokyo.

After school, you see many international students playing and their parents talking at Arisugawa Memorial Park, which is located in Minami-Azabu.
Because of these reasons and its family oriented atmosphere, many foreigners with children come to live in Azabu and Hiroo.
You can find friends and share information around here even if you are coming to Japan for the first time and don't know much about it.

This park which has a total area of 67,560 square meters can be used for multipurposes such as reading books, playing sports, and walking. There is a Metropolitan central library, big athletic ground and many tennis courts in addition to the garden. You will see many people from overseas in an international refined atmosphere.
You can enjoy relaxing quiet time as you get away from the crowds and noises of the city.

Everytime you walk around here, you can find another beauty of the park.

Kyu Shibarikyu Onshi Teiene
Kyu Shibarikyu Onshi Teien is one of the most famous lord gardens from the Edo era, so is Koishikawa Korakuen. This is a typical Japanese style garden which has a central pond. As you walk around the pond you can enjoy the beautiful layout of landscape and stones. At one time, it was under the sea. During 1655-1658, it was recovered to land. And then, in 1678, it became the property of a governor. He hired a landscape gardener and made garden 'Rakuju-en'. After that, General Tokugawa built a Shiba compound at the end of the Edo period.
